Thor (2011)

The production of what is said to be the best Marvel comic-based movie is creating all sorts of hype as it is coming along smoothly and successfully. The official release date has been set! Thor will hit theaters with a bang in the box office on May 6th, 2011!

A full description of the movie is available HERE along with new screen shots from the actual movie. The trailer shown at Comic-Con was leaked online several days ago but has since been pulled off by the copyright owners. Hopefully, sooner than later, a legal copy will resurface.

The cast of the movie is a rather solid one. It includes the following:
The villian of the movie is no other than The Destroyer, the greatest enemy of Thor's world, Asgard.

Before the trailer leak was cleaned up, I was able to watch it several times. I must say- Chris Hemsworth appears perfect for the role. The trailer also revealed that a substantial amount of the movie's setting will take place in Asgard in order to provide the proper background of Thor's life as a god along with the story of him being banished to Earth by his father. It doesn't look like they leave anything out!

I am wondering if there will be more references to other SHIELD members other than Nick Fury- and will there be another suprise ending introducing another super hero? Captain America perhaps!

Return of Smallville for Tenth and Final Season

There has been much speculation over the past several months regarding whether or not the hit CW television series 'Smallville' should be renewed for a tenth season to summon up the worldwide phenomenon that is the modern day telling of early years of the comic world's best known superhero, Superman.

Being one of televisions longest airing series, fans are becoming agitated at the thought of yet another inadequate season with ritualistic storylines that seem to drag on and lead to dead-ends ever since the demise of the infamous Lex Luthor played by the brilliant Michael Rosenbaum.

I have been a loyal fan since the pilot first aired nearly a decade ago, and I am thankful for another season in order to properly conclude the untold story. Many of the questions fans and critics seem to be asking about season 10 include-

Will Clark learn how to fly?
Will Clark reveal his secret to Lois?
Will Clark make an appearance wearing the original Superman outfit?
                                           Does Chloe die?
Will they cast another major Justice League character?
Will Lex or Lana come back?

Smallville creator and producer, Alfred Gough, has not revealed the answers to these questions. However, tune in to watch the final season set to air on September 24, 2010.
